Google Analytics

Hey! Welcome back to my blog!

Today I will talk about the benefits of Google Analytics.

Google Analytics!

When you create, a blog using blogger you can then sign into google analytics with it. First of all, you must have a Gmail account for both. Once you have, you can then type in google analytics on google. Once in google analytics you click on sign in. Here you just simply add your blogger URL and you will get a code that will allow this to work. After signing in you are ready to go.

How does it work?

Google Analytics works by showing you how many people visited your blog each day, week and month. It is all calculated through percentages. On google analytics you have many different terms that include page reviews, visits, sessions, % new visits and % new sessions. These tell you of how many people have looked at your posts. It also lets you know at how many new people have seen your blog. On a pie chart beside this information, it will let you know of what percentage of people are new and what percentage of people are coming back to your blog. It shows great insight into your blog.

Below the pie chart there is a list of Demographics that includes language, country, city, and under system it includes browser, operating system, and service provider. You can click on these and you will be able to see where your views are coming from and what server they are using for e.g. windows. It is really fascinating to see that your blog could be viewed from all around the world. There is also an option of seeing a full report from your Google Analytics. Here is an example of what I mean! This is from my own Google Analytics.

I hope that this will help you in tracking your views and to see if people enjoy your blog posts. I will leave a link to the video explain all about Google Analytics in more detail. Google Analytics video

Enjoy your day!
