Hey guys! Welcome to My Journey page of my blog.
I must say that with starting college in 2016 was different for me. I was totally out of my comfort zone. I didn't know if I would make new friends or even like my course Multimedia Web Development. I took a big risk by doing this course, as I was putting a four-year art degree course specializing in Geography on hold. Now near the end of 2017, I can say that this wasn't a risk at all, it opened my eyes up to a world that I loved. A world that was filled with web designers or developers, graphic designer, photographers, film makers and much more. I soon realized that this was what I was born to do. I soon learned that, I not only having a big Passion for Photography, I also had found a new Passion for Web Design and Developing. I could see a career path opening up in this line of work. I decided not to take my Arts degree in February of this year, as I knew I was descent for much bigger things in life than learning how volcanoes happen. This year I grew, developed new and life-long friendships, found Passion in things I admired, and still watched the same shows I always loved.
As my passion is in Photography and Web, I've decided to get a degree in Media Arts & Technologies. This will again take me out of my comfort zone, but I will be doing what I love. I think the best advice I can give to anyone is follow your dreams and passions and don't let anyone say you can't do it when you can. Remember this is your life no one else.
My journey in life has really only started. I'm 19, and yet to see the world. I hope that in my near future, I have accomplished and achieved my dreams and travelled the world taking you guys with me on every step I take, either through photos or videos. I hope you guys stick around and follow me on my journey as there is much more to come.
I have just finished my year long course, and I must say I had a blast. It was a great course, and I learned so much new stuff its breath taking. I also made lifelong friends. I have decided to apply for the second year of that course anyway, just keeping my options open.
Now that summer is here, I’ve decided to keep working on my Photography and hopefully get a brand-new camera. I want to travel this summer and get into shape, but I’ll see how that goes.
