Today I am going to identify e-tool to include social media marketing, blogs, rich media, email marketing, search engine optimizations, online advertising and their application to digital marketing campaigns.

Social Media Marketing

A social media presence is a necessity for many customer-driven enterprises, as it will give the impression of a more immediate connection between the customer and the seller. Campaigns spread through social media are believed the have a more resonance because they are usually discovered thought links shared by trusted sources. This allows advertisers target their message to a very specific audience, providing the potential for better results.

• Buffer: Buffer unlike Hootsuite isn't a free application. You can have up to ten free posts and then you have to pay to use it. It works with the social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. This app works the same way as Hootsuite works, you can schedule posts for whenever you wish.

• Hootsuite: This is a free application that allows you to schedule posts for social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram. It is very easy to use and works very well. By using Hootsuite campaigns, it makes it simple to use social media contest and campaigns to help grow and engage your audience, allow you to build your brand with the user generated content, and also help you generate a new revenue through social commerce.

• Canva: This is also a free application that helps you make your posts more engaging by giving you different styles and ideas. They allow you, the user to decide if you want to post a Facebook post, an Instagram post, a Twitter post and much more. Again, it is quick and easy to create these posts and the best thing is they save them for you too.

• Blogger: This is a site where anyone is free to blog as long as they have a Google account. It is easily set up and navigated. They are very easy to work and they don’t take up a lot of time. Also, a good thing about blogger is that you can save a post and come back to it at a later time and fix it up or add more information before publishing it. You can also add links to your social media platforms like Facebook and you can add images to make your blog stand out. When using them for digital marketing campaigns, you could talk about the item or product and you could also link them to the blog so people can see them. 

• YouTube: This is one of the largest most viewed platforms in relation to creative content. Anyone can create a video and upload it as long they have an account. You need a google account in order to have a YouTube account as they are linked, On YouTube ads are very comment, YouTube itself will run adverts and during videos. This helps promote different films, YouTube red or TV shows, and apps. For example, when YouTube launched YouTube red, they had adverts on most videos and their own advert for it. This got the message out there but the only bad thing is it costs money to use it. Also, it is only available in certain countries right now.

• Netflix: This is a very popular streaming platform common with young people especially. It allows you the options of sitting down and watching a series of your favourite TV shows. This is called binging. Netflix has replaced TV for the younger generation, Netflix don't run ads as such as you need an account to use it, but it is only 10 euro a month and this is very cheap. Netflix has new introduced a new thing to it, they have now added a feature that allows you to download and save whatever u want to watch. When it came in place they would have notified each user via email and by the app itself.

• Spotify: This is a very popular music app downloaded by millions of people across the world. The best thing about this app is that you need to pay for it, and you can use your Facebook as a login way. It saves hassle if you forget passwords. You can upgrade the app to premiere version which is 10 euro a month. By doing this you will be able to skip the ads that they play after two songs. This can be frustrating but it’s a clever way of promoting their premiere version.

• Mail Chimp: This is a very business type of email service when it comes to collecting statistics, sending emails and improving performance. It includes the following in its dashboard, import lists, create and send campaigns and proceed to build your audience. It is very easy to work and organise. It contains a tracking option that lets you know which campaign links receives the most clicks.

• Newsletter: A lot of makeup companies and fashion companies like boohoo or Sleek makeup will send everyone a newsletter email of their specials or deals with their products. How you receive these emails is by signing up for them. You can also unsubscribe if you wish to. These emails help make the companies bigger. 

• Google Analytics: This is a google application that allows you to see who is looking at your sites. You have to link it to a site like blogger. By doing this you can see who is looking and seeing your blog posts for example. You require a google account in order for this to work.

• Google Webmaster Tools: Again, this is sun by Google and you need a google account in order to run this. This is where you can monitor your sites performance, identify issues, submit content for crawling, remove content you don't want indexed, view the search queries that brought visitors to your site, and monitor backlinks. These are very important. They are very help full as a result.

• AdSense; This is run by google and you need a google account to be able to use this. It is an advertising placement service by Google. This program is designed for website publishers who want to display targeted text, video, or image advertisements on their website pages, and to earn money when site visitor view or click the ads it runs. 

• Pop Ups: These types of adverts mainly pop up on websites when you enter them. Most times they can be annoying but other times they can show you a product or service that you might need. They can be turned off but most times they don't last very long. They are mainly run by google.

• Sponsored Ads: These are ads that people will run on their social medias and get paid by the companies. For example, a lot of YouTubers were paid by Best Feinds, a game in which you can download and it is free. This helped get the app out there and branded. You also see a lot of sponsored ads on Instagram in relation to makeup. This again lets the brand be noticed by people all over the world.

Blogs

A blog is a simple platform to allow a writer or a group of writers talk and document their experiences, observations and opinions and hope they help other people. They often have images and links to their social media or websites linked in each blog post. 

Rich Media

Rich media is a digital advertising term for an ad that includes advanced features like video, audio, and or other elements that encourage viewers to interact and engage with the content. Rich media is done by using platforms like YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, EBooks, Video and Podcasts. These are very popular in today’s society with young people and social media marketers. High-quality differentiated content is very popular today. More and more people are creating content of high-quality as it is more popular.

Email Marketing

Email marketing occurs when a company sends a commercial message to a group of people by the use of electronic email. Most commonly done through advertisements, requests for business, or sales or donation collocation. Any email communication is considered email marketing if it helps to build customer loyalty, trust in a product or company or brand recognition. Overall email marketing is an efficient way to stay connected with your clients while also promoting your business.

Search Engine Optimisations

Search engine optimisation is the process of getting traffic from the free, organic, editorial or natural search results on search engines. Major search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo have primary search results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to the user. These are based of certain words or hashtags a person searches online.

Online Advertising

Online marketing or Internet marketing, refers to advertising and marketing efforts that use the web and email to drive direct sales via electronic commerce, in addition to sales leading from web sites or emails. Online marketing also includes a wider range of marketing elements than traditional business marketing due to the extra channels and marketing mechanisms available on the internet. Online marketing can deliver benefits such as the following: Growth in potential, Reduced expenses, Elegant communications, Better control, Improved customer services, and Competitive advantages.
