VR In Gaming Consoles & PC's

As I said in my pervious post, VR is very popular in the entertainment industry, especially when it comes to Video Games. With Virtual Reality on the rise, Game developers have noticed this and have started releasing VR related games and consoles. The main purpose for VR is for fun, wether it be from a game or from your phone. The different ways that VR can be used is incredible. VR is changing the way we as users view gaming, movies and phones. Gaming is still a very popular sport among kids, teenagers and young adults, and is becoming more worldwide, especially with all the new consoles being created and developed. There are many ways that VR can be used to game. You can use VR with PC, Playstation and Samsung.

When it comes to using VR on pc while gaming, you have to buy the games that will include VR and then the VR headsets. This can be costly, but the experience you get is unreal. It is also important that your pc has the power to run the software needed to experience VR. Depending on the VR set you have, your pc should meet the virtual reality headset requirements. Two types of VR sets that work with pc are the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

Lifehacker states the Oculus Rift requirements:

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon Rx 480 or greater
Alternative Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD Radeon R9 290 or greater
CPU: Intel i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or greater
Memory: 8GB + RAM
Video Output: Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
USB Ports: 3x USB 3.0 ports, plus 1x USB 2.0 port
OS: Windows 7 SP1 64 bit or newer
Oculus Rift
Lifehacker says that depending on your pc parts, you might have to change or swap out some parts of the pc, whether it's the RAM or the Graphics Card. If you weren't comfortable pulling parts from your pc you could ask a friend who was or you could replace your machine with CR-Capable machines that are sold expressly for VR headsets. For the Oculus Rift, you can buy the Oculus Ready from Oculus. This will be costly and could cost you up to $700, just to allow you the experience of VR. So maybe updating your pc would be a cheaper alternative. 

PlayStation VR Bundle
In relation to gaming, the Playstation 4 and Playstation VR Bundle could be a cheaper way to go. It is much more realistic, espically if you can't afford to invest in a whole new pc just to expereince VR, while Playstation can provide it for a cheaper cost. In order for you to use the Playstation VR bundle, you do require that you own a PS4 or any PS4 version. The VR bundle works hand in hand with the Playstation 4 console. If you love gaming, espically on Playstation, the likelyhood of you owning the newest edition of the series is high. This would save you costs as the VR bundle set came out after the first Playstation 4 was released. This gives the users time to experience the Playstation 4 on its own, before adding more controlers to the mix. 

You might be wondering, what is so great about the Playstation VR Bundle? Well im going to brake it down for you in more technically terms to give you a better understanding of it. The VR Bundle has really taken things to the next level by allowing the user the experience of living in the game. The Playstation VR Bundle is the future in today's present. The VR Bundle contains 360 Degree Vision and 120 Frames per second time speed that work great with 5.7" OLED Screen. 

Playstation say's that the headset has got Audio immersion. This includes 3D Audio which allows you to experience new dimension's in sound with cutting edge 3D audio that allows the users to accuretly perceive the direction and distance of the sound. There is also a Built in Mic which allows you to talk to your friends while in the game. These experience alone make the game more enjoyable and realistic.

Overall VR has exploded when it comes to gaming, wether it is PC gaming or Console gaming. I would say to do your research and figure what is going to be cheaper to buy and invest money into as VR is an experience we are going to start feeling and being shown to more often.

    For some of you reading this, virtual reality gaming is no big deal. Some of us, however, were not born all that recently, so this new virtual reality gaming phenomena is pretty fascinating. Really enjoyed the post. Hope to see more soon.

    VR is so popular nowadays and many young teens enjoy it. If the VR will be more cheaper in the market, many people will surely buy it and lots of people will enjoy games using this.
